On the night of April 4 (from 18:00 on April 3), the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 286 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones. About 200 of them are Shaheds. This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
The Russians launched attack drones from the following directions: Shatalovo, Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 07:00, air defense forces shot down and suppressed 260 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south, east and center of the country.
11 strike drones were recorded hitting 10 locations, as well as falling debris in six locations.
The military warns that about 20 more enemy UAVs are recorded in Ukrainian airspace.
