Military levy extended for three years after the end of martial law: Zelensky signed the law

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a bill on the extension of military levy, as well as for 3 years after the abolition of martial law in Ukraine.

The relevant information, Censor.NET reports, was published on the parliament’s website, the PromPolitInform portal reports.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the relevant government bill on April 7 as a basis and in its entirety.

Military levy

Currently, the military levy amount is set at 5% – for individuals, 10% – for individual entrepreneurs of the first, second and fourth groups in the calculation of one minimum wage.

For individual entrepreneurs of the third group, except for electronic residents – at the level of 1% of income.

These norms were extended until the end of martial law and for three years after its end.

The adoption of the draft law was an IMF requirement for obtaining financing.
