By the evening of Monday, May 4, the number of victims of the Russian missile strike on Merefa increased. A seriously wounded man died in the hospital, thus raising the number of victims of the attack to seven. This was announced in a telegram by the head of the Kharkov OVA Oleg Sinegubov, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
Unfortunately, another victim of shelling in Merefa died in the hospital. The injuries of the 59-year-old man turned out to be too heavy – the doctors fought for his life to the last, but could not be saved, “said the head of the regional administration.
According to Sinegubov, in medical institutions of Kharkov there are 14 wounded. Doctors provide them with all the necessary assistance.
- On the morning of May 4, Russia launched a missile strike on the territory of the service station in Merefa in the Kharkiv region. Four people died on the spot, two more people died in the hospital. 36 people were injured, including children of 2, 16 and 17 years old. Four of the hospitalized are in serious condition.
- As a result of the attack, residential buildings, utility rooms, shops, a food establishment, service station premises, and vehicles were damaged. According to preliminary data from law enforcement officers, Russian troops used the Iskander ballistic missile.
