Cabinet extended the deadline for confirmation of criticality for business

Businesses will be given three months of ‒ until September 1 ‒ to confirm criticality status under the updated booking rules.

This was stated by Minister of Economy Alexei Sobolev during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada, reports EP, informs the portal PromPolitInform.

“This time, businesses will also be given three months to prove their criticality. That is, by September 1, they must pass this mechanism,” ‒ said Sobolev.

According to him, the procedure is already clear for business, and the necessary packages of documents have been prepared, so the process should not take longer than during the previous update in December 2024.

Sobolev stressed that enterprises do not need to constantly confirm their status, and a review every year and a half under martial law is justified, since the economic situation is changing.

At the same time, he denied allegations of a fall in GDP, noting that last year the economy grew by almost 2%, and real wages, taking into account inflation, increased by another 7%.

On May 25, the Ministry of Economy stated that they did not predict a significant revision of the criteria for determining critical enterprises. The last time such parameters were updated in early 2025.

Recall, on May 22, the Cabinet of Ministers approved an updated procedure for booking employees of critical enterprises, tying the possibility of postponement to the level of wages. From now on, to confirm the status of criticality, the average salary at the enterprise should be at least 25,941 UAH, which is equal to three minimum wages.
