In may, ukrainian long-range drones hit at least 17 oil refineries, terminals and logistics hubs in russia.
This was announced by the commander of the Forces of unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
According to him, more than half of the affected objects after the strikes completely or partially stopped working. Among the goals are oil refineries, oil terminals, oil pumping stations and fuel hubs, which ensure the flow of funds to the Russian budget.
“She works on petrodollars, and a worm war machine. It does not hold on to any patriotism, scraps or other husk,” said Robert Brovdi.
Among the objects that were hit in May: Moscow, Ryazan, Yaroslavl, Syzran, Kuibyshev, Kirishi, Volgograd and other oil refineries. Oil terminals in Novorossiysk, Primorsk and Taman were also hit.

A feature of May was that individual enterprises attacked again. In particular, the Yaroslavl refinery was hit three times during the month, and the Tuapse refinery became the target of two separate operations.
The commander of the SBS stressed that the published list did not include numerous defeats of oil depots and oil pumping stations both in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
The Forces of Unmanned Systems considers such operations as part of a systemic campaign to weaken the economic base of the Russian war.
“Consistent economic strangulation of the source of financing the war against Ukraine: to stab the golden antelope,” concluded Robert Brovdi.
