“I believe in a bilateral meeting, but there must be partners, because there are many things that Ukraine is counting on: security guarantees after the end of the war, membership in the European Union,” he emphasized.

The presence of influential Western countries at the negotiating table is a critically important requirement for the Ukrainian authorities, although the Russians are left with the right to choose the final format.
