The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has seized the assets of Deputy Prime Minister Kuleba

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has seized the assets of Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Oleksiy Kuleba — an apartment worth UAH 4.4 million and a parking space worth UAH 520,000. This is evidenced by the court’s ruling, the PromPolitInform portal reports with reference to the Anti-Corruption Action Center.

It is noted that the seizure was imposed at the request of prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, now it will be impossible to sell the property or provide it as collateral.

The prosecutor’s office found out that Kuleba uses this property and “has a real opportunity to influence his sister” to dispose of the property so that these assets cannot be confiscated in the future.

Recall, the SAPO filed a lawsuit with the court to declare unfounded and recover assets worth almost UAH 5 million acquired by Oleksiy Kuleba through his sister to the state.

An analysis of the income and expenses of Kuleba and his family members showed that the family did not have enough funds necessary for such purchases.
