On the night of June 28, the Russians attacked Ukraine with eight missiles and 142 strike drones. This was reported by the Air Force, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
Russia attacked with two anti-ship missiles “Zircon”, or “Onyx” from the Kursk region, six ballistic missiles “Iskander-M / S-400” from the Bryansk region.
The Russians also struck 142 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas attack drones and Parodia simulator drones from the following directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia); temporarily occupied Donetsk and Gvardiyske (Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The air defense neutralized one Zircon or Onyx anti-ship missile, six Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, and 125 Russian UAVs in the north, south, and east of the country. The missile and 14 attack UAVs were hit in 11 places, and downed (fragments) also fell in 13 places.
