Russia continues to carry out massive strikes on the production infrastructure, filling stations, and production facilities of Naftogaz Group in various regions of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz Group, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
On the night of August 9, the enemy used dozens of strike drones against the production assets and drilling site of Ukrnafta. As a result of the attacks, some of the equipment was put out of action, the facilities suffered significant damage, and the asset’s operation was halted. No workers were injured.
In addition, on August 7 and 8, seven gas stations of the UKRNAFTA network in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Mykolaiv regions were attacked by enemy drones. As a result of one of the attacks, a gas station employee was hospitalized.
Also on August 8, the Russians attacked Naftogaz production facilities in the central part of the country with jet drones, causing serious damage, but the personnel were in cover at that time.
“In recent days, the intensity of enemy attacks on oil and gas infrastructure has significantly increased. It is obvious that the enemy’s goal is to cause maximum damage to Ukrainian production and other critical infrastructure in order to make it impossible to prepare for the heating season. Our priority is to save people’s lives and continue working, even in such difficult circumstances,” Serhiy Fedorenko, Acting Chairman of Naftogaz Group, emphasized.
