Russia’s losses in the war with Ukraine as of August 9, 2026 – the 1,628th day of the war
Since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, as of the morning of August 9, 2026 – the 1,628th day of the war – the Defense Forces of Ukraine have eliminated 1,457,740 occupiers, including 1,130 over the last day.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as informed by the Prompolitinform portal.
The total combat losses of the russian occupation army from 24.02.2022 to 09.08.2026 are approximately as follows:

• Combat armored vehicles – 25,103 (+4) units
• Artillery systems – 47,621 (+41) units
• MLRS – 2,013 (+4) units
• Anti-aircraft warfare systems – 1,556 (+0) units
• Aircraft – 439 (+0) units
• Helicopters – 354 (+0) units
• Ground robotic systems – 2,171 (+9) units
• Operational-tactical UAVs – 451,248 (+1,642) units
• Cruise missiles – 5,007 (+0) units
• Ships / boats – 35 (+0) units
• Submarines – 2 (+0) units
• Vehicles and fuel tankers – 131,775 (+358) units
• Special equipment – 4,505 (+1) units
