In temporarily occupied Sevastopol, restrictions on fuel sales to the civilian population are being reintroduced. According to the Russian head of the city, Mikhail Razvozhaev, gasoline and diesel will once again be dispensed via special QR codes.
Overall, the measures will affect the most popular fuel grades, including AI-92, AI-95, and diesel fuel. The occupation administration notes that such a system will remain in place until sufficient stock levels are restored at gas stations.

Razvozhaev also stated that local market operators, specifically the ATAN gas station chain, had breached agreements. According to him, AI-92 gasoline at these stations is either completely unavailable or sold at inflated prices.
The fuel crisis on the peninsula has intensified against the backdrop of systematic strikes on oil refining facilities, energy infrastructure, and invaders’ logistics routes. Since the beginning of summer, Russian military infrastructure in Crimea has come under constant attacks, leading to an acute shortage of vehicle fuel.

In addition to the gasoline shortage, the power supply situation in the occupied region has deteriorated, leaving settlements regularly without electricity. Due to these issues, the occupiers have already declared a regional state of emergency.

Meanwhile, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine notes that Russia is using artificial domestic hardships to increase pressure on local residents.
