Ukrainian defense-tech company F-Drones is consistently reducing dependence on foreign suppliers, establishing its own production of components for drones. This was told by F-Drones CEO Stanislav Khutor in an interview with LB.ua, Channel 24 reports. The PromPolitInform portal reports.
How F-Drones managed to localize the production of components
According to him, F-Drones became the first Ukrainian company to achieve 100% localization of the production of components directly within the enterprise (in-house).
“We are the first Ukrainian company to localize the production of 100% in-house components for drones: engines, frames, electronics – flight controllers, speed governors, communication systems, video transmitters, ground and airborne antennas in the entire frequency range. All that usually makes the manufacturer dependent on China. We are getting rid of this dependence,” emphasized Stanislav Khutor.
Commenting on the US requirements for components, the company’s CEO noted that the United States has a strict requirement of the NDAA law – the absolute absence of Chinese parts in the drone design.
“We have a clear understanding of how to achieve 100% compliance with NDAA standards across the entire line and be included in the Blue UAS registry – the official list of drones allowed for purchase by US government and defense agencies. By the way, our F10 UAV has already been included in this “blue list,” he noted.
As previously reported, Ukraine has exported ready-made combat drones to the US for the first time. A batch of 2,000 F10 FPV attack drones from F-Drones was sent to the US as part of the Drone Dominance project, which is being implemented for the US Department of War.
