The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission has published generalised comments and proposals regarding the draft amendments to the Methodology for calculating tariffs for universal service provider services. The regulator accepted submissions from interested parties from 8 to 27 July 2026 following the approval of the draft at its July meeting. The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission has published a generalised table of proposals and comments on the draft decision regarding adjustments to the Methodology for calculating tariffs for universal service provider services. Along with the market’s comments, the regulator provided its own position on each submitted amendment.
The draft resolution on amending the document approved in October 2018 under No. 1176 was adopted at an open meeting of the regulator on 7 July 2026. The collection of proposals from interested individuals and organisations lasted from 8 to 27 July 2026 in accordance with the procedure for holding open discussions of regulatory acts.
Final consideration of proposals will take place online
An open discussion of the submitted comments and the regulator’s position is scheduled for 11:00 on 14 August 2026. The event will be held via video conference using the Zoom service.
Participants who submitted their proposals regarding the draft resolution in advance will receive invitation letters three working days prior to the meeting. Others wishing to join the discussion can submit an electronic application no later than one working day before the start of the event.
