During the first half of 2026, domestic processing enterprises increased the volume of live weight farm animals received by 16.3% compared to the same period last year. Data on wholesale trade was also updated. This is reported by State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the portal PromPolitInform reports.
Based on the results of January–June 2026, Ukrainian processing enterprises recorded a significant increase in the volume of farm animals received. The live weight indicator rose by 16.3% compared to the first half of 2025.
Relevant statistical information was released as part of the monthly dataset update on the status of the agricultural sector and related manufacturing industries.
Wholesale trade statistics and further observations
In addition to livestock figures, data regarding the sales and stocks of goods and products in wholesale trade for January–June 2026 were updated.
Statistical monitoring allows for assessing the dynamics of product inventories and sales volumes in the wholesale market segment following the results of the first six months of the year.
