The number of subscribers and identifications in the NBU BankID System increased in the first half of 2026

During the first half of 2026, users of the NBU BankID System completed 66 million successful electronic identifications. Eight new subscribers from various economic sectors joined the platform. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the National Bank of Ukraine.

Users of the NBU BankID System performed 66 million successful electronic identifications in the first half of 2026. This figure exceeded the results of the same period in 2025 by 30%, or by 15.2 million operations.

During the reporting period, eight new subscribers from sectors such as education, telecommunications, retail, and fintech joined the platform. In particular, the passport service of the SOE «DOKUMENT» was connected for citizen verification when booking an electronic queue slot.

In addition, companies such as «TRIMOB», «ZAKAZ.UA», «GLOVOAPP UKRAINE», and «FEODAL» with the «MoYe» application became system participants. Furthermore, three financial companies joined the network to identify customers during online lending.

New subscribers integrate the system for various tasks

Telecommunications operators use the platform to verify subscribers, while grocery delivery services use it to check the age of buyers. Agricultural and property applications apply identification for access to real estate registries.

«The growth in the number of electronic identifications in the NBU BankID System and the expansion of its subscriber base demonstrate steady demand for secure remote interaction tools», — said Olha Vasylieva, Deputy Director of the Payment Systems and Innovative Development Department of the National Bank.

As of July 1, 2026, the platform included 37 identifier subscribers and 117 service provider subscribers. In June, tariffs for commercial participants were also resumed to cover operating expenses for infrastructure maintenance.
