As of August 14, 2026, the largest filling station networks in Ukraine have updated the prices of petroleum products. The average price of A-95 petrol is UAH 81.67 per litre, and diesel fuel is UAH 91.56 per litre.

The largest filling station networks in Ukraine have updated fuel prices as of August 14, 2026. Compared to the previous day, the cost of petroleum products remained unchanged.
The highest prices for petrol and diesel are offered by the OKKO, WOG, and Socar networks. At the same time, the lowest rates traditionally remain at the BRSM-Nafta and Ukrnafta filling stations. The average market price of A-95 petrol is about UAH 81.67 per litre, and diesel fuel is UAH 91.56 per litre.
The fuel situation remains under control despite external challenges
Ukraine has entered the top ten countries in the world with the highest growth rates of diesel fuel prices against the backdrop of military actions in the Middle East. At the same time, A-95 Consulting Group Director Serhii Kuyun emphasized that there is no shortage of diesel fuel on the market and none is expected in the near future.
Head of the Antimonopoly Committee Pavlo Kyrylenko explained that the price increase is connected not only with external factors, but also with the shutdown of the country’s largest oil refinery. “The main objective factor that influenced the price increase is that after the shutdown of the largest and virtually the only oil refining enterprise in Ukraine, more than 85% of light petroleum products depend on imports,” Kyrylenko noted.
Experts assess the impact of market factors on the cost of petroleum products
Director of Energy Programmes at the Razumkov Centre Volodymyr Omelchenko stated that Ukrainian gas station networks operate with a higher margin than European traders. President of the Gas Traders of Ukraine association Andriy Myzovets added that speculative fluctuations in the oil market caused gas prices to rise at European hubs. Expert on international energy and security relations Mykhailo Honchar noted that Russian attacks on port infrastructure create additional pressure on logistics.
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has not yet detected any monopolistic conspiracies in the fuel market. During a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, Pavlo Kyrylenko reported that the agency had analysed Platts statistics and recorded a restrained price growth at Ukrainian gas stations compared to global imports.
