Government allocates UAH 2.3 billion to support frontline communities

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 2.3 billion to support frontline communities. Subsidies were directed to regional budgets and the budgets of 179 territorial entities. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The financial resource is intended to ensure the stable operation of people who perform their duties near the combat zone.

«This is concrete support for people who work in extremely difficult conditions: educators, medical personnel, social workers», — noted Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhii Koretskyi.

The funds were distributed between regional budgets and the budgets of 179 territorial communities in frontline regions.

Additional funding for Zaporizhzhia region

A separate amount will be directed to remuneration of public sector employees.

Zaporizhzhia region received over UAH 36 million to pay salaries to workers who go to work in active combat areas.
