Repairs and Fairs in Kyiv: Where Traffic Will Be Restricted and Routes Changed

In Kyiv, traffic will be partially restricted on European Square and Zolotoutstivska Street starting August 15 due to roadworks, while several buses and a trolleybus will change routes over the weekend due to fairs.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Сергій Козачук) citing Kyivska Miska Derzhavna Administratsiia, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

The city is launching the next stages of road surface restoration, according to the municipal corporation Kyivavtodor.

Restrictions on European Square will last from August 15 to 23, where road workers will perform current repairs in stages without a full traffic shutdown. On Zolotoutstivska Street, traffic will be partially restricted from August 17 to 31 on the section from Pavlivska Street to building No. 14.

Drivers are advised to plan their trips across the capital in advance, taking these inconveniences into account.

Changes in public transport operations due to fairs

The communal enterprise Kyivpastrans is altering the routes of several services due to food fairs held on Holosiyivska, Tatarska, Yordanska, Serzha Lyfarya, and Ihor Yukhnovsky Streets.

On Saturday, August 15, buses No. 39, 98, 110, and trolleybus No. 34 will run along modified routes. On Sunday, August 16, adjustments will affect bus routes No. 31, 110, and 112.

Seasonal road repairs across the capital

The city continues its active season of restoring overpasses and main roads with local closures. In particular, works are underway on the Pivdennyi Bridge overpass and along Holosiyivskyi and Roman Shukhevych Avenues.
