The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official foreign exchange rates for Saturday, 15 August 2026. The indicators remained unchanged from the previous day, although key currencies show weekly gains.
This was reported by Glavcom, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
According to the regulator, the official rate of the US dollar stands at 44.69 UAH. The euro settled at 51.61 UAH, and the Polish zloty at 11.99 UAH.
The NBU table also provides precise values for major positions: the US dollar is rated at 44.6988 UAH, the euro at 51.5543 UAH, the British pound sterling at 60.3076 UAH, the Swiss franc at 55.0105 UAH, and the zloty at 11.9759 UAH.
Commercial bank rates
Financial institutions across the country show varying prices on the cash market. At Oschadbank, the dollar is bought at 44.50 UAH and sold at 45.05 UAH, while the euro trades between 51.45–52.15 UAH. PrivatBank sets the dollar rate at 44.30 / 44.90 UAH, and the euro at 51.05 / 52.05 UAH.
At PUMB, the American currency can be sold for 44.50 UAH and bought for 45.10 UAH, with the euro priced at 51.30 / 52.00 UAH. Raiffeisen Bank offers buying and selling rates for the dollar at 44.50 and 44.90 UAH respectively, and for the euro at 51.10 and 51.90 UAH. Monobank quotes the dollar at 44.46 / 45.83 UAH and the euro at 51.43 / 52.07 UAH.
Weekly trend and other regulator decisions
Over the past seven days, the US dollar, euro, British pound, Polish zloty, and Swiss franc have all appreciated against the hryvnia.
Apart from exchange rate indicators, the regulator is taking steps to reform the financial market. Specifically, the central bank is acting to reduce bureaucratic burdens on the insurance sector and preparing to introduce a 2,000 UAH banknote into circulation on 4 September 2026.
