Russia carried out a massive shelling of one of DTEK thermal power plants, as a result of which the station stopped generating electricity and its equipment suffered significant damage.
This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of DTEK.
The strike led to a complete halt in generation at the enterprise. Specialists are assessing the damage and working to eliminate the consequences of the latest attack on energy infrastructure.
Systematic attacks on Ukrainian generation continue
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the company’s facilities have suffered more than 230 hostile strikes. During the previous attack on June 12, enterprise employee Oleksandr Kosolapov was killed.
