A consolidated list provides information on current support programs for defenders and their families
The Office of the Military Ombudsman has created a special directory containing data on financial aid provided by Ukraine's territorial communities. The document collects information on payments for various categories of military personnel as well as their family members. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Тетяна Веремєєва) citing Office of the Military Ombudsman, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Local government bodies independently determine the order and volume of financial support, which previously led to difficulties in finding information within disparate council decisions. The new tool allows users to quickly navigate available benefits depending on their administrative division.
Funds can be directed to contract soldiers and mobilized personnel, as well as to those who have sustained injuries or require further rehabilitation. Separate program sections are dedicated to supporting the families of the fallen, as well as those who have been captured or have gone missing while performing combat missions.
Data Access and Updates
The system covers all regions of the country, including territorial communities that have changed their place of operation due to occupation but continue to fulfill social obligations. The Office of the Military Ombudsman has committed to regularly updating the database, as the terms for providing funds change periodically at the local level.
The department urges local authorities not only to strengthen support programs but also to maximize the simplification of the application process for these payments for citizens. Thanks to the directory, service members can view the algorithm of actions and the list of necessary documents established within a specific community.
