Switzerland has delivered 30 diesel generators to Ukraine to ensure energy stability. The equipment has already been distributed among four regions. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
As part of international technical assistance, the Swiss side has provided Ukraine with 30 powerful diesel generator sets. This equipment is intended to support the operation of critical infrastructure facilities amid the ongoing Russian attacks on the country’s energy grid.
Distribution of equipment among regions
The received units were delivered to four Ukrainian regions that have the greatest need for additional power sources to ensure the stable provision of services to the population. This assistance will help reduce the risks of electricity and heat supply disruptions during potential emergency situations.
The government team continues to work on attracting international support for the sector’s recovery and the implementation of new energy security technologies. Cooperation with foreign partners remains a top priority for the ministry during the state of martial law.
