Polish Foreign Minister called on Russia to end the war, highlighting the economic disparity between Ukraine, Europe, and NATO
Poland’s Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski called on Russia to end the war in Ukraine during a UN Security Council meeting. He emphasized that Russia cannot achieve victory despite military actions and recalled the economic balance between Ukraine, Europe, and NATO. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Crimean Wind.
Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski stated during a UN Security Council session that Russia, unable to make battlefield gains, is resorting to strikes on Ukraine and provocations in Europe.
He compared the economic capacities of Ukraine, Europe, and NATO with that of Russia, noting that Ukraine’s GDP is one-tenth of Russia’s, Poland’s nearly half, Europe’s ten times larger, and NATO’s 25 times greater.
Sikorski directly urged the Russian representative to convey to his leadership: “Enough means enough.” He called on Russia to halt the war to prevent further danger to Europe and the world.
He also highlighted that Ukraine has held the front line for over four years despite a much smaller economy, expressing confidence that the imperialist war could be stopped at any moment.
Sikorski stressed the need to preserve international security and avoid further destruction, warning that continued Russian actions undermine the country’s own future.
