Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an agreement regarding a new package of missiles for Patriot air defense systems. According to Hromadske Radio, the head of state disclosed this during a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian community in the US. Informs the portal PromPolitInform.
The President did not specify which country would provide the new missile package.
“Today we reached an agreement—I won’t say with whom—on a package of missiles for Patriot systems. This is an important decision,” he said.
Separately, he noted that the Ukrainian team held 20 meetings with leaders from various countries on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
As a reminder, following a meeting with Trump in New York, Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously stated that Trump holds a “positive attitude” toward granting Ukraine a license to manufacture missiles for Patriot systems.
