The UAV offers a 30 km range and integrates with the DELTA and Kropyva situational awareness systems
Vyriy Industries has unveiled the Slavic tactical reconnaissance UAV, capable of staying airborne for up to 1.5 hours. The drone has already undergone testing within seven units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Лев Шевченко) citing Vyriy Industries, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The development is positioned as a domestic alternative to commercial Chinese quadcopters. Implemented technical solutions enable operators to work at a significantly greater distance from the frontline while maintaining familiar control logic, similar to the DJI Mavic series.
Technical specifications of the drone
The drone is equipped with a 40,000 mAh Solid-State battery, ensuring an endurance of up to 90 minutes. To navigate in environments where GPS is unavailable or jammed, the drone employs optical positioning technology, and the communication system operates across a wide range of channels to mitigate interference.
For surveillance, the unit carries a digital 2K camera mounted on a three-axis stabilized gimbal. The optics support 10x optical and 30x hybrid zoom, allowing for detailed observation of enemy positions.
Integration and deployment
The system is delivered as a turnkey solution, requiring no additional field modifications upon receipt. The controller is compatible with the Kropyva and DELTA situational awareness systems and facilitates direct video streaming via the VEZHA application.
The development team is currently refining the platform based on feedback from combat units. Future plans include the integration of thermal imaging modules for nighttime reconnaissance and the adaptation of the platform to serve as a signal relay for other assets.
