Energy infrastructure facilities were damaged in several regions
As of the morning of September 29, consumers in five Ukrainian regions are partially without electricity due to enemy shelling. Repair works are currently underway wherever the security situation allows. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
Military operations and strikes on energy infrastructure have led to power supply interruptions in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions. Repair crews are working to fix the damage while remaining mindful of the threat of further attacks.
Status of the power system and forecasts
Experts do not currently anticipate the need for power consumption restrictions for residential and commercial customers throughout the day. Consumers are advised to monitor official channels from local distribution system operators for updates regarding supply status.
Optimizing energy usage
To maintain the stability of the power grid, citizens are urged to shift the use of power-hungry appliances to the period between 10:00 and 16:00. It is also recommended to reduce grid load during peak evening hours from 17:00 to 22:00.
