A series of night air raid alerts and explosions were recorded in the capital
On the night of October 4, Kyiv was subjected to another attack by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles. Four air raid alerts were announced in the city, with explosions heard during the last one. This was reported by Glavcom citing Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
A large-scale air raid alert began in the capital at 04:48 following a warning from the Air Force regarding the activity of enemy UAVs. This security signal was the fourth for the city throughout the day. Previous alerts were announced at 00:51, 01:31, and 02:57, with the interval between the third and fourth alerts lasting less than two hours.
Consequences of previous attacks
Throughout the night, the aftermath of falling drone debris was recorded in several districts. The Kyiv City Military Administration reported a fire at a non-residential building in the Desnianskyi district at 01:15. Additionally, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported a fire in a private residential house in the Holosiivskyi district, which occurred as a result of falling debris late on the evening of October 3.
Operational situation
As of the morning of October 4, relevant services continue to investigate the circumstances and search for potential impact sites following the final night explosion. There has been no information regarding casualties or large-scale infrastructure damage. Citizens are urged to strictly adhere to safety protocols and remain in shelters until the official cancellation of the threat signal.
