Road surface repairs on the overpass will last for six days
In the capital, traffic on the Pivdennyi Bridge will be restricted from October 27 to November 1. Travel towards the left bank will be partially closed due to asphalt repairs. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from Kyiv City State Administration, based on data from Kyivavtoshliakhmist.
Road surfacing works will begin at 7:00 on October 27 and continue until 17:00 on November 1. Repair measures will affect the overpass section of the bridge leading towards Mykola Bazhan Avenue.
Traffic organization details
During the engineering works, the third and partially the second traffic lanes will be occupied. Maintenance crews will leave only the first lane open for vehicles.
Drivers are advised to account for these restrictions when planning their city routes in advance. The municipal enterprise apologised to citizens for the temporary inconveniences caused by the need to maintain infrastructure in proper condition.
