DTEK explains frequent changes in emergency power outage schedules

The energy system suffers from regular enemy strikes, forcing schedule adjustments

Energy company DTEK has clarified the frequent changes in the application of emergency power outages throughout the day. This is caused by the consequences of massive attacks on the domestic power grid. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of DTEK.

Russian forces continue to strike Ukraine’s energy infrastructure facilities. Specifically, approximately twenty enemy attacks were recorded over the past day alone.

Due to constant threats and damage, the situation in the power grid changes extremely rapidly. Sometimes balance indicators are adjusted several times within a single hour.

Company dispatchers work in a high-pressure real-time mode precisely to prevent large-scale accidents. Their main goal is to avoid a complete blackout of the system.

It is precisely due to the need for constant manual load adjustment that emergency restrictions are introduced and cancelled so frequently. Consumers are urged to treat the situation with understanding and patience.
