The enemy launched 89 airstrikes and used over 7,000 kamikaze drones
On November 5, 184 combat clashes were recorded between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the Russian army. The enemy launched 89 airstrikes, dropped 289 guided bombs, used 7,045 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,449 shelling attacks. This was reported by Ukrinform citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
On the Northern Kharkiv direction, the invaders attacked twice in the areas of Pokrovka and Boyaro-Lezhachi.
Attacks in the Kharkiv Region
On the Southern Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian units repelled six attacks. Russians attempted to advance in the areas of Ternova, Starytsia, Rybalkynoho, and Ambarne.
On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted no assault operations.
Lyman and Sloviansk Directions
Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks on the Lyman direction in the areas of Novoserhiivka, Stavky, Lyman, and Zarichne.
On the Sloviansk direction, Russian forces launched two attacks near Nikonorivka and Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy remained inactive.
Pokrovsk Direction
On the Konstantynivka direction, 10 attacks were recorded. The Russian army conducted assault operations in the areas of Konstantynivka and Druzhkivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces stopped 17 attacks. The enemy attacked in the areas of Serhiivka, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka, and also conducted assaults toward Toretske, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka, and Dobropillia.
Southern and Other Directions
On the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders conducted no assault operations.
On the Huliaypole direction, nine Russian attacks were repelled near Zlahoda, Ternuvatye, Dolynka, Hirskyi, and Yehorivka.
On the Orkhivka and Pidniprovsk directions, Russian forces remained inactive.
On the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of Russian offensive groupings were detected.
Losses and Strikes
Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck one enemy personnel concentration area and two UAV command posts.
The total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion, from February 24, 2022, to November 5, 2026, amount to approximately 1,599,390 personnel, including 2,380 over the past day.
