Age supplements will be issued automatically to those whose pension is below UAH 10,340.35
No general pension increase is planned for November, but elderly citizens will continue to receive monthly supplements. The amount depends on the age category and reaches up to UAH 570 for individuals aged 80 and older. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Олена Чупровська) citing Pension Fund of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
State guarantees for people of a certain age and with the required insurance record remain in effect, although a mass recalculation for everyone is not planned. Some categories receive funds automatically upon reaching a certain threshold, while others must independently apply to the agency to confirm their right to assistance.
A separate guarantee is the minimum payment of UAH 4,213, which is designated for certain groups of non-working citizens. In November, monthly supplements for the elderly will be preserved, with accruals for citizens aged 70 and older happening without the need to submit applications.
Sizes of Age Supplements in November
Ukrainians aged 70 to 74 are eligible for a supplement of UAH 300. Pensioners aged 75 to 79 receive UAH 456 every month.
The largest amount — UAH 570 — is accrued to citizens who have turned 80 years old or more. The main condition for receiving these funds remains that the total pension amount together with all supplements must not exceed UAH 10,340.35.
Payment Restrictions Based on Maximum Limit
If the total amount approaches the established limit, the supplement may be reduced or partially accrued. For instance, if a person receives a basic pension of UAH 10,000 and is eligible for a supplement of UAH 456, they will be credited with only UAH 340.35 to avoid exceeding the limit.
