On Saturday, January 31, Ukraine launched the state program “Health Screening 40+.” Citizens born on January 1 have already begun receiving notifications in the Diia app. According to Novyny.LIVE, this was announced by Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko on Telegram, as reported by the PromPolitInform portal.
The “Health Screening 40+” Program
Svyrydenko explained that notifications will be sent to all Ukrainians aged over 40 following the same procedure — 30 days after their birthday.
To take part in the program, participants must confirm their willingness in the Diia app. After that, funds for the medical examination will be credited to a Diia Card within seven days.
“If you do not use the Diia app, you can apply for a plastic card with a special account at a partner bank and visit a Administrative Services Center (CNAP). There, you will be helped to submit an application and indicate the account for receiving the funds,” the Prime Minister said.
The program makes it possible to assess health conditions and detect risks in a timely manner, including:
- cardiovascular diseases;
- diabetes;
- mental health disorders.
It is reported that more than 900 healthcare facilities have already joined the initiative, including both public and private institutions.
