For the first time during a full-scale war, the Ukrainian Defense Forces captured the position of Russian troops exclusively with the help of ground robotic complexes and drones. This was reported by Slovo i Dilo, President Volodymyr Zelensky. The PromPolitInform portal informs.
According to him, the enemy position was taken without the involvement of infantry, and the occupiers surrendered. Zelensky did not specify where exactly such an operation was carried out, but noted that it took place without losses on the Ukrainian side.
The President added that in general, the Armed Forces of Ukraine already use, among other things, the robotic complexes “Ratel”, “Termit”, “Ardal”, “Lynx”, “Zmij”, “Protector” and “Volya”.
“In other words, more than 22 thousand lives were saved – a robot went to the most dangerous zones instead of a soldier,” Zelensky added.
Recall that at the beginning of the month, the president announced a decision to strengthen the infantry, the contract system and response to the SZCH.
It is also worth noting that earlier, Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov announced the deployment of a unified drone control system in the Defense Forces.
