On the night of May 1, Russia attacked Ukraine with 210 Shahed (including jet), Gerber, Italmas and other types of drones.
This was reported in the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
UAV launches are recorded from the following directions:
Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation;
Guards – TOT AR of Crimea;
TOT Donetsk.
Air defense operation
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, EW units and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 190 enemy UAVs such as Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.
A hit of 20 shock UAVs at 14 locations was recorded, as well as a fall of downed (debris) at 10 locations.
