During the massive strike, the Russians launched 73 missiles, including eight anti-ship 3M22 “Zirkon”.

On the night of June 2, the army of the Russian Federation carried out a combined strike on Ukraine. The Russians used 729 air attack means: 73 air, ground and sea-based missiles, as well as 656 UAVs of various types. As the PromPolitInform portal informs, this was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“On the night of June 2, the enemy launched a massive combined strike using strike UAVs, air-, sea- and land-based missiles of various types. The main direction of the strike was Kyiv. The Dnieper, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Poltava region and other regions were also attacked,” the military stressed.

Russian troops launched:

eight 3M22 Zircon anti-ship missiles — launch areas — temporarily annexed Crimea, Kursk region;

33 Iskander-M ballistic missiles — launch areas — Bryansk, Kursk and Rostov regions, Crimea;

27 Kh-101 cruise missiles — launch areas — Vologda region;

five Caliber cruise missiles — launch areas — Caspian Sea;

656 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types, loitering munitions Banderol, simulator drones of the Parody type: launch directions — Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Gvardiyskoe and Chaudy, which are in Crimea.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense systems shot down/suppressed 642 targets – 40 missiles and 602 drones of various types:

11 ballistic missiles Iskander-M;

26 cruise missiles Kh-101;

three cruise missiles Caliber;

602 drones of various types.

According to preliminary data, 30 ballistic, three cruise missiles and 33 drones were hit at 38 locations. The fall of the fragments occurred at 15 locations.
