Law enforcement officers are studying procurement procedures from previous years.
JSC NNEGC Energoatom reported that on June 25, authorized law enforcement agencies are conducting investigative actions on the territory of the Khmelnytskyi NPP. This was reported by Sudovo-Yurydychna Gazeta, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
According to the information available to the company, these actions are related to individual procurement procedures that were carried out in previous years.
Energoatom stated that they provide full assistance to law enforcement officers, provide all necessary documentation and information in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation, and are also interested in a comprehensive, objective and impartial establishment of all circumstances of the case.
The current management of the company emphasizes that it consistently adheres to the principles of transparency and accountability in management, supports interaction with law enforcement agencies and advocates for a proper legal assessment of possible violations regardless of the time of their commission.
The company also emphasized that the conduct of investigative actions does not affect the production processes and safety of the facility’s operation. Khmelnytskyi NPP operates in normal mode, ensuring stable and safe operation of power units and electricity production for the needs of the state.
