President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that he is discussing with Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga and First Deputy Head of the General Directorate of Diplomatic Relations Serhiy Kyslytsia the pool of Ukrainian ambassadors who will need to be replaced. He said this during a joint press conference with Ursula von der Leyen in Kyiv on July 15, Hromadske Radio reports. The PromPolitInform portal reports.
“As for the diplomatic corps, I would not answer exclusively about the embassy in the United States of America. There are challenges there. Of course, there is no smoke without fire. But we have several embassies,” the president said.
Zelensky noted that after consultations with Sybiga and Kyslytsia, “there will be public information” regarding the possible replacements of Ukraine’s diplomatic representatives in other states.
“Let’s just say, there is no final version yet,” he added.
