During January – July 2026, local budgets of Ukraine received UAH 324.9 billion in taxes and fees. This figure increased by 16% compared to the same period last year. This is reported by Economichna Pravda, the portal PromPolitInform reports.
During the first seven months of 2026, local budgets received UAH 324.9 billion in tax revenues. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the growth reached 16%, which in monetary terms equals an additional UAH 44.9 billion. This was announced by the head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, Lesia Karnaukh.
Personal income tax remains the main source of revenue for territorial communities. During the mentioned period, its payment brought UAH 197.8 billion to local budgets. This is 20.5% higher than the results of January – July of the previous year.
The single tax also formed a significant share of community revenues, amounting to UAH 50.7 billion, showing an increase of 10.9%. Property tax was paid in the amount of UAH 37.3 billion, which is 12.4% more than last year. Corporate income tax provided local budgets with UAH 19.2 billion, increasing by 3%.
Reserves for increasing revenues and dynamics of previous years
In addition to the main taxes, during the seven months of this year, communities recorded an increase in tourist tax revenues, which brought UAH 215.9 million, up 21.3% compared to last year’s figure. The fee for vehicle parking spaces increased by 14% and amounted to UAH 136.5 million.
“These are not just numbers, these are community opportunities. Very often, communities do not fully realize that there are reserves to increase revenues. The main thing is to understand clearly where they are being lost. And we are ready to help communities find them. These are properly registered land plots and real estate, official employment, and businesses that pay taxes honestly,” Karnaukh noted.
It is worth noting that in 2025, the general fund of local budgets received UAH 514 billion. At that time, the annual revenue growth was 14%, or UAH 63 billion, compared to the results of 2024.
