The Ukrainian court sentenced Vitaly Razuvayev in absentia to the company commander of the “Pyatnashka” International Brigade. He was found guilty of brutal treatment of the civilian population in the Kyiv region. This is reported by the PromPolitInform portal with reference to the “Book of Executioners of the Ukrainian People”
Vitalii Razuvaev, who served as a company commander within the International Brigade Pyatnashka of the so-called DNR Ministry of Internal Affairs, has been sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison. The court verdict was delivered on August 7, 2026.
Sentencing for war crimes in the Kyiv region
The court established that the officer was involved in crimes committed in the village of Lubyanka, Bucha district. Razuvaev ordered four civilians to be held outside in freezing temperatures without adequate clothing throughout the night.
His actions were classified under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, pertaining to the violation of the laws and customs of war. The officer was directly in command of a unit that operated alongside the armed forces of the rf during the occupation of Ukrainian territories.
