Kyiv region has received humanitarian aid in the form of protective structures for energy infrastructure from The Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency. The shipment, weighing over 33 tons, was distributed through the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine hubs. This was reported by Ukrinform citing Ministerstvo Enerhetyky Ukrainy, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The Kyiv region has received a new batch of energy-related aid from The Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency (MSB). The agency provided over 33 tons of specialized protective structures to reinforce energy facilities in the region.
The cargo was distributed through a network of emergency energy assistance hubs managed by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine. Logistics and transfer operations for the equipment were completed last month.
Protecting energy infrastructure from attacks
The implementation of these structures will significantly strengthen the resilience of energy nodes against potential attacks. Beyond their protective function, the structures will ensure safer working conditions for crews conducting repair and restoration efforts.
By enhancing engineering defenses, energy officials expect to increase the reliability of the Kyiv region’s energy system. Such international support remains crucial for the stable operation of infrastructure in the region.
