Defence Forces of Ukraine hit the NOVATEK-Ust-Luga complex on August 14, 2026

On the night of August 14, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine attacked the NOVATEK-Ust-Luga production and transshipment complex in the Leningrad region of the RF. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out at the facility, damaging two processing units.

This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to available information, two raw material processing units were damaged. The extent of the destruction and the results of the engagement are currently being assessed.

The complex supports the needs of the Russian army

The facility specializes in the fractionation and processing of stable gas condensate. It has an annual capacity of approximately 8 million tonnes of raw materials.

The products manufactured at this site are used to support the military-economic interests of the RF. In particular, they are utilized to meet the logistical and technical requirements of the Russian armed forces.
