The regulator has increased the official value of the dollar and the euro before the start of the next working week. Relevant data was released by the National Bank of Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrinform citing Natsionalnyi Bank Ukrainy, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
For 17 August 2026, the National Bank of Ukraine has set the official dollar exchange rate at 44.70 hryvnias. Compared to the figures on 14 August, the currency increased by one kopeck.
The official euro exchange rate was set at 51.70 hryvnias. Over the weekend, the value of the European currency increased by 15 kopecks.
State budget forecast
It should be noted that in the draft state budget for 2026, the government projected an average annual hryvnia to dollar exchange rate at 45.6 hryvnias.
