The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities has completed the review of proposals regarding amendments to the licensee control procedure. An open discussion on the relevant regulatory act took place on August 13, 2026. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from NEURC.
The regulator held an online meeting during which market participants and public representatives provided their comments on the draft resolution updating the rules for monitoring compliance with license conditions. The event was held in accordance with the procedures established by the commission’s internal resolution of June 30, 2017.

Currently, the official NEURC web portal features a protocol recording all reviewed proposals. A table containing agreed positions regarding the activities of licensees in the energy and utilities sector has also been published.
The changes in the document are aimed at improving supervision mechanisms over business entities. The draft decision materials along with additional documentation are available for review on the agency’s website.
