OKKO network allocated 4 million hryvnias for robotic complexes for ZSU

OKKO company joined the "Flag of Independence" initiative and financed the procurement of ground robotic complexes for Ukrainian defenders. The total contribution of the network to supporting the Defence Forces since the beginning of the full-scale invasion has exceeded 4.3 billion hryvnias.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Сергій Новіков), according to the portal PromPolitInform.

Within the framework of the project, implemented jointly with the Come Back Alive foundation and the Ukraine WOW organization, the fuel operator purchased 100 copies of the Flag of Independence. The cost of support allocated for equipment purchase amounted to 4 million hryvnias.

A significant portion of the received flags — 75 units — will be transferred to secondary schools in various regions of the state. Company representatives plan to deploy the remaining symbols themselves during celebratory events.

Technologies replace humans on the battlefield

Funds are directed to ground robotic complexes designed for logistics tasks in the combat zone. They allow for the evacuation of the wounded, as well as the transportation of cargo without exposing personnel to enemy fire.

“Ground robotic complexes perform the most risky tasks instead of soldiers, medics, and drivers,” noted Deputy Director of the Come Back Alive foundation Oleh Karpenko. According to him, one such unit of equipment is capable of replacing the work of 25 soldiers and significantly reducing the time for delivering necessary supplies.

Systemic aid to the military

The OKKO network has long been cooperating with the Come Back Alive foundation on major defense initiatives. In particular, 1.5 billion hryvnias were raised for the needs of the army within the joint “OKO ZA OKO” program.

Currently, the company continues the implementation of the next stage of the project called “OKO ZA OKO. Dronopad”. In total, more than 4.3 billion hryvnias have been allocated by the network for humanitarian and defense purposes since February 2022.
