At Naftogaz, the cost of fuel remains at UAH 7.96 per cubic meter
Starting October 1, Ukrainian consumers will receive gas utility bills under new standards. At the same time, for the majority of Naftogaz customers, the cost per cubic meter of gas will remain unchanged. This was reported by Socportal citing Na pensii, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Beginning in October, updated requirements for the operation of the gas distribution system are being introduced, providing for the standardization of payment documents. The new format has been developed taking into account European norms and current Ukrainian legislation to improve public awareness.
Unification of payment documents
Citizens will receive bills in a single format regardless of which service operator they have chosen. The documents will become more detailed, and charges will be displayed in a standardized form.
The updated bills will contain up-to-date data on the status of the personal account, including any existing arrears or overpayments. Consumers will also be able to independently choose a convenient delivery method for their bill, either in paper or electronic form.
Supplier service tariffs
For the majority of households receiving services from Naftogaz of Ukraine GC, the gas tariff is fixed at UAH 7.96 per cubic meter. This price will remain in effect until April 30, 2027.
At the same time, customers of other suppliers may pay different rates in accordance with the terms of their concluded contracts. In particular, annual offers for the population range from UAH 7.90 to 9.90 per cubic meter of fuel.
Monthly market offers
Certain companies set monthly tariffs starting at approximately UAH 8.50 per cubic meter. For some suppliers, such prices can reach UAH 32 per cubic meter of gas.
Experts advise consumers to carefully check the terms of their contracts before the heating season. The change in the bill structure starting October 1 is purely formal and does not imply an automatic increase in tariffs.
