Average petrol price — 90.07 UAH, diesel — 99.86 UAH per litre
On 23 September 2026, gas station networks updated fuel prices. The average price of A-95 petrol is about 90.07 UAH per litre, diesel — 99.86 UAH per litre. The most expensive offers are from Okko, WOG, and Socar networks. This was reported by Glavcom, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
As of 23 September 2026, several major Ukrainian gas station networks changed fuel prices. The average price of A-95 petrol in the surveyed networks is about 90.07 UAH per litre, diesel — 99.86 UAH per litre.
Price Changes by Network
Compared to the previous day, changes were recorded in two networks. At UPG stations, A-95 petrol decreased by 1 UAH per litre — to 88.90 UAH. Other prices in the network remained unchanged. At BRSM-Nafta stations, diesel fuel increased by 5 kopecks per litre — from 96.26 UAH to 96.31 UAH.
Prices by Network
Okko, WOG, and Socar continue to offer the most expensive petrol and diesel among the surveyed networks. UPG and Ukrnafta stations offer significantly cheaper fuel. For example, A-95 petrol at UPG is 88.90 UAH, while at Ukrnafta it is 85.58 UAH. The gas price at UPG is 42.90 UAH per litre, the lowest among the networks analyzed.
Factors Influencing Fuel Prices
Ukraine is largely dependent on imported petroleum products, so Ukrainian gas stations primarily follow the situation in the European market. The final price is also affected by procurement costs, logistics, exchange rates, inventories, and demand. Russian strikes on port infrastructure additionally increase delivery costs, as part of maritime shipments must be replaced by overland routes.
Risks and Attacks on Gas Stations
Russian strikes on fuel infrastructure have become a separate risk factor for the market. According to Der Spiegel, over 200 Ukrainian gas stations have been attacked since April. Major networks are repairing damaged stations, so the attacks have not yet caused a nationwide fuel shortage. “These attacks serve two main goals — to instill terror and break the resistance spirit among ordinary people, and the second is propaganda,” explained Serhiy Kuyun.
Expert Assessment of the Situation
Experts do not currently consider the situation a fuel crisis. There is sufficient fuel on the market, although supply issues may occur locally, primarily in frontline regions. “A crisis is when there is not enough petroleum products and there is no way to get them. Currently, there are certain supply problems in frontline regions, but these can be resolved,” stated Hennadiy Ryabtsev.
