The American agency is preparing for the next phase of its transportation program to ensure human presence in orbit. This expedition will be the 13th crew rotation mission for SpaceX’s human space transportation system. Overall, this flight marks the 14th flight of a crewed spacecraft to the orbital complex under the agency’s Commercial Crew Program.
Crew Composition and Preparation
The core crew of the mission consists of four specialists across various fields of activity. Among them are mission commander Jessica Watkins and pilot Luke Delaney. Other expedition members include Joshua Kutryk and Sergey Teteryatnikov. Prior to liftoff, crew members undergo mandatory quarantine procedures and final prelaunch training.
Flight Schedule and Return
The liftoff of the launch vehicle and spacecraft is scheduled for 11:10 a.m. EDT on October 1, 2026. The crew’s return to Earth is expected in 2027 following the completion of the research program in orbit.
