The official USD/UAH exchange rate approached the psychological threshold of 45 hryvnias per dollar
The National Bank of Ukraine set currency rates for September 25: USD at 44.97 UAH, EUR at 51.12 UAH. The dollar rose by 12 kopecks, while the euro fell by 6 kopecks over the past day. This was reported by Minfin, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The National Bank of Ukraine announced official exchange rates for Friday, September 25. The US dollar increased by 12 kopecks to 44.97 hryvnias, while the euro decreased by 6 kopecks to 51.12 hryvnias.
For comparison, on September 24, the dollar stood at 44.85 hryvnias and the euro at 51.18 hryvnias. Overall, the hryvnia weakened by 0.12 against the dollar but strengthened by 0.06 against the euro over the past 24 hours.
Thus, the USD/UAH rate neared the psychologically significant mark of 45 hryvnias per dollar — the gap is only 3 kopecks.
