Chinese leader Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine, the Middle East and the Korean Peninsula during talks at the White House. The two sides also agreed on mutual support for upcoming summits — APEC in China in November and the G20 meeting in Florida. According to an official report by the Chinese government, the agreement on mutual support covers two upcoming summits: the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum, which China will host in November, and the G20 meeting in Florida.
Following the meeting, Xi Jinping said he intended to build constructive, strategic and stable relations between Beijing and Washington.
In his words, normal relations between China and the United States would benefit both countries and the wider world.
Kyiv’s position on Beijing-Moscow cooperation
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said China is sharing new drone technologies with Russia.
According to him, this concerns in particular drones that can fly up to windows and wait until a person appears there.
Zelenskyy noted that China is currently working on this technology and suggested it could soon be transferred to Russia — roughly in late December or in January.
