As part of Operation Vivaldi, Ukrainian forces are successfully carrying out assigned combat tasks
Ukrainian military have achieved significant results on the Lyman axis as part of Operation Vivaldi. In total, over the past week, the Defence Forces neutralised 10,660 Russian soldiers. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the successful completion of tasks by Air Assault Forces units as part of a separate active defence operation. The progress of combat operations and the situation on the front line were discussed during the briefing of the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU, Mykhailo Drapatyi.
Weekly Russian casualty statistics
Over the past seven-day period, 10,660 occupiers were neutralised in sectors where the most active clashes are occurring. Each instance of enemy personnel being struck was recorded by video surveillance equipment, confirming the effectiveness of Ukrainian unit operations.
Geography of active combat operations
The highest intensity of enemy attacks is recorded in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka and Lyman sectors. Simultaneously, Ukrainian troops continue to carry out combat plans in the Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
Recognition of AFU units
The Head of State specifically noted the combat performance of servicemen from the 3rd Army Corps. Furthermore, high effectiveness was demonstrated by soldiers of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, which is part of the 8th Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The systematic work of the AFU throughout the week allows for the containment of the enemy offensive and the seizure of initiative in key areas. At present, further active steps by Ukrainian forces to continue the active defence have been coordinated with the Commander-in-Chief.
